One morning in Jan
2025, a cute boy (around 13 years of age), while walking to the school, started
stealing glances at me around our housing complex. And recently, from the
upstairs window, I saw he kept moving his heart-hands while he was passing beside
my house. So cute!
My worker said, "He is a grandson of a ‘bakul sayur (vegetable-basket seller)’. He and
his sister live with his grandpa as his mom and grandma have passed away, while
his dad has remarried and doesn't care with them. To support their daily needs,
he, on behalf of his grandpa, regularly comes to the ward office to receive government
assistance in the form of rice, money, etc."
I fully understand a boy with a missing-mother issue will tend to be attracted to a female
from his mom’s generation.
